Glorieta Geoscience, Inc. (GGI) has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Senior Dairy Program Manager.

Position Description 

This position is a full-time position as a Senior Dairy Program Manager for Glorieta Geoscience, Inc. (GGI) located in Santa Fe, NM. The Program Manager consults with dairy and other clients in the agricultural sector on environmental, regulatory, and compliance issues including discharge permit, nutrient management and nutrient management plan implementation, applications and contracts for funding from federal and state entities, environmental infrastructure projects at facilities, water conservation, water rights, and sustainable management practices. The Program Manager serves as the client relations manager and is expected to communicate clearly, effectively, and sensitively with dairy clients for all on-going projects. The Program Manager works closely with GGI staff to prepare project budgets, assign tasks, and oversee completion of projects.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Dairy team Leader/Project manager for dairy and other clients in the agricultural sector,
  • Ensure positive and productive working relations and coordination with clients and regulatory government agencies
  • Assign and track tasks with GGI subject matter experts
  • Promote team communications and effectively manage all tasks pertinent to GGI’s dairy and agriculture client base
  • Prepare monthly dairy agenda for staff meetings
  • Review weekly staff time and monthly invoices for dairy projects
  • Communicate with GGI Partners on status of dairy client sector

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Environmental Science, Life or Physical Science, or similar degree
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of clean driving record (for prior 5 years)
  • Excellent written and verbal organizational and communications skills
  • Team leadership skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Desire to learn new skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Unquestionable ethics and personal integrity
  • Willingness to travel throughout the state to meet with clients on a regular basis

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Agronomy, Environmental Science, Life or Physical Science, or similar
  • Experience or background in the agriculture and/or dairy field
