Wetlands Delineation
Wetlands delineation is based on the the presence of wetland characteristics or indicators. These indicators are:
(i) presence of hydrophytic vegetation,
(ii) presence of hydric soils, and
(iii) presence of wetlands hydrology.
If the presence of wetlands is indicated, they must be delineated by mapping the area where all indicators are present and completing appropriate forms for the Army Corps of Engineers.
GGI’s geohydrologists conduct site investigations to evaluate soils and hydrology while vegetation survey is performed by agronomists.

Vegetation survey completed as part of wetlands delineation. Soil pit dug as part of wetlands delineation.
