Geomorphic Mapping

GGI has completed geomorphic mapping projects for analysis of sediment transport through canyons in the vicinity of Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), to examine the geomorphic context of archaeological sites and fossil localities, and to evaluate wetlands mitigation sites.

GGI has also collaborated in geomorphic and geologic mapping projects with LANL and New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources (NMBGMR), including mapping of the Valles Caldera National Preserve. (Valle Toledo Quad, Bland Quad.) GGI is currently collaborating with NMBOG on state map projects in the Mount Taylor area (Lobo Springs Quadrangle and Mt. Taylor Quad).
