Phase II Site Investigations
If the Phase I ESA identifies the presence of a recognized environmental condition (REC), GGI offers the client the ability to continue into the second level of investigation known as the Phase II Site Investigation.

• The scope of the investigation would be based on the findings of the Phase I ESA and the goals of the client. The scope may range from a few samples of soil or water from the site to a larger scale drilling program for the area of the REC in order to characterize the boundaries of the contamination.

• GGI utilizes non-intrusive efforts such as geophysical investigation and limited intrusive methods such as direct-push technology that does not require large drilling equipment. This enables detailed assessment with minimal impacts to the property.
GGI also has the capability of continuing into the final stage of remedial activities, if the Phase II investigation has demonstrated a REC that exceeds a regulatory limit or an unacceptable liability. GGI has a very successful history of taking the information obtained from the Phase II investigation and proving an affordable and successful remedial plan to resolve the environmental problem.
