Site Assessment Inspections

Our most valuable service that GGI offers to our dairy /CAFO clients is the site assessment inspections. This service provides the dairy owner with an accurate assessment of environmental status of the dairy operation. This assessment allows the dairy owner to address problems before they become a violation or a deficiency in an inspection performed by a government agency. Many of our dairy clients in New Mexico and other states have greatly benefited from our site assessment inspections. GGI also utilizes these inspections to address as many of the multiple documentation requirements for state Discharge Permits and the USEPA CAFO Permits.

  • GGI then schedules an appointment to conduct a site visit in the company of a dairy representative that is knowledgeable of the dairy’s operation.
  • During the site visit, GGI’s experienced scientists tour the entire facility with your representative and discuss with you their observations of problems or concerns for future situations.
  • After the tour of the facility, GGI scientists review all your record keeping documentation related to your permits. We will advise you of the current status of your record keeping and provide recommendations for any additional record keeping that might be needed under the terms and conditions of your permits.
  • During the exit interview, we discuss with you the status of your facility and possible solutions to observed problems in terms of compliance of your permits.
